This survey is part of the research study “Digital spaces for sustainable learning: Exploring virtual exchanges as fertile ground for sustainability transformation” which focuses on your experience in the course “Integral Ecology for Socio-ecological Problem-solving."
Thank you in advance for agreeing to participate in this survey, which is part of the research on virtual strategies and sustainability.
The study will examine how virtual exchange could be an effective learning approach for transformative sustainability learning (TSL) in higher education by exploring its impact on students’ understanding of and action toward sustainability.
Data confidentiality
Keep in mind that the data will be kept confidential, and no one else but those listed as members of the team will access the information submitted. You may also ask at any time to destroy and/or not use that information, and we will comply as soon as possible.
Protecting your privacy
This procedure is carried out at all times with anonymized data. No extracts are made in connection with your personal data or academic records. Nothing that you tell us during the whole process will be shared with anybody outside the research team, and nothing will be attributed to you by name. The knowledge that we get from this research will be shared with you and your community and the public.
Voluntary participation
Lastly, your participation in this study is voluntary. It is up to you to decide whether to participate. You are free to withdraw your participation at any time and without giving reasons. Withdrawing from this study will not affect the relationship you have, if any, with the researchers and neither will it affect your class standing. If you withdraw from the study before the data collection step is completed, your data will be returned to you and/or destroyed, as you prefer.
